We went to a few spots around the school, starting from one of the classrooms. It was pretty dusty though, since it's still the holidays. Which of course was the perfect reason they chose this time to do this shoot. Or it would have probably been impossible. They did write a formal letter asking for permission though. Such a great and cooperative couple. All I had to do was come to take their photos. They even brought me the door gifts from their recent wedding. So very sweet. I very much enjoyed this session. Itulah, I rasa macam pernah tengok someone did this school theme before, but can't quite put my finger on it. Apa-apa pon, I can't take the credit for the theme idea, since it was the clients!
As for the execution, I've never been personally 100% satisfied with the execution of ANY my works. Always feel that I can do better. Plus, I'm new to this whole wedding and taking photos of other people. Sangat kekok nak direct orang, since before this buat self-portraits memanjang. I really need to practice more on communicating my ideas and thoughts.
However, considering this is my second time shooting this kind of photography,I'm quite happy. Kalau boleh macam-macam lagi I nak buat during this session, tapi I takut nak push myself too much since I pon tengah sarat mengandung 8 bulan ni. Itupun ada jugak I panjat-panjat kerusi. Hahaha.
But I shouldn't really make that an excuse. Hehe. Cheating :P
Hopefully I can be better with more and more shoots. Thank you for your honest input! Motivates me to improve myself.

I won't tell you the step by step, since it's always different each time I do it.
But the main tools I use would be curves and selective coloring. Then some adjustments to the brightness and contrast.

You don't really have to follow every single step as mentioned, just adjust here and there to suit your own taste and style. It's pretty much about experimenting.
